Regulation is changing – how will you meet legal requirements, while maintaining brand safety and audience trust? How can you prevent your content/account being moderated by platform algorithms? How can you actively prove trustworthiness in the age of fake news?

IMPRESS is looking for standout UK content creators to attend Authentic AF: Real Talk for Real Creators, an exclusive workshop to explore professionalisation and protection, where you can be one of the first pioneers to shape the standards effecting your industry.

They'll cover:

Monetising with confidence under UK and EU online safety legislation

Attracting and navigating brand deals with brand safety CPD accreditation

Growing trust by learning about journalistic ethical engagement strategies from top news brands like the BBC, the New York Times, NPR and the UK’s largest independent publishing network, with an audience of 20 million.

The event is part of a wider collaboration between Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool and IMPRESS, the UK’s sole independent media regulator and a non-profit champion of content that can be trusted.

This free in-person workshop will take place in Shoreditch, London on September 18th 2025 (TBC 10am – 4pm).

Travel expenses are available as needed and the event will be catered.

Attendance will also guarantee early access to training & accreditation (with bursaries).

Your perspective on integrity in content creation is invaluable, and we hope you will join IMPRESS in their quest to provide protections to creators and your audiences, while ensuring trusted content is recognised and incentivised by brands, agencies and platforms.

Please RSVP to jdarcy@liverpool.ac.uk by September 1st to secure your place.
